As a Security Officer Deescalation Patrol in Milton, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide courteous communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals as needed.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral health concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and/or hazards to appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directions, and adherence to facility access procedures.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to hospital staff and Allied Universal leadership.
