Requirements

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while coordinating with appropriate hospital personnel and first responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and compliance with site access procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel.
