As a Security Officer HOA Access Control in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Access Control Officer in a residential community, you will manage visitor and vehicle access, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and maintain a welcoming, professional presence. You will help deter incidents through attentive observation, clear communication, and timely reporting of security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity at community access points, verify authorized access, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery information in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to access-control incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and communication with site management and/or emergency responders as required.
