About The Position

As a Security Officer Guest Services in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal, you will be the welcoming first point of contact at a professional location, helping to monitor access, observe security-related activity, and support visitors, employees, and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific policies, visitor processing, and front desk access procedures.
• Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or credentials as directed, and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
