About The Position

Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a busy retail location, where you will greet visitors, monitor access, support security-related procedures, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and front desk support at the location.
  • Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive observation and professional communication.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and escalate concerns according to site protocols.
  • Answer phones, assist with visitor check-in, maintain accurate front desk logs and incident documentation, and communicate security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, provide directions and general assistance, and report maintenance, policy, and/or customer service concerns observed at the front desk area.
