About The Position

As a Security Officer Guest Services Reception in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. In this stationary role, you will help monitor access, greet visitors, support security-related processes, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front desk protocols at a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor lobby and front desk activity, verify visitor access, issue passes or badges as directed, and document arrivals, departures, and other security-related events.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with building management and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, greet guests, provide directions, and support access control, package handling, and other administrative or security-related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports related to visitor management, deliveries, maintenance requests, and/or incidents, following Allied Universal standards and site-specific policies.
