In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious activity, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.
- Support daily operations by maintaining visible presence, assisting with visitor directions, and completing routine reports related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or observations.
