Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic automotive location, where you will help monitor assigned areas through routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an automotive location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions, concerns, and/or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions as directed by site policies, and document visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle activity when required.
  • Support daily operations by communicating with staff and visitors, following post orders, and completing required reports, logs, and/or incident documentation in a timely manner.
