In this stationary role, you will support access control, monitor security-related activity, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a front desk location.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor credentials, following sign-in procedures, issuing visitor badges, and communicating with appropriate staff regarding arrivals and/or deliveries.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
  • Answer phones, assist with directions, and support front desk operations while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or other suspicious activity through attentive presence and observation.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and other records related to daily activity, visitor management, and security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site expectations.
