About The Position

As a Security Officer Government Site in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic location where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach while bringing an agile and reliable presence to every shift.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies while supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site procedures, and report maintenance, operational, or security-related issues observed during patrols.
