About The Position

As a Security Officer Government Building Access Control in Costa Mesa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a dynamic location where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, post orders, and when appropriate, emergency response activities related to security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with appropriate contacts and/or responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, helping to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns as conditions vary by site.
