As a Security Officer Government Building in Costa Mesa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. At a dynamic, innovation-focused location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with professionalism and outstanding customer service. Requirements

Have 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
Be 21+ years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
