As a Security Officer Government Building Secret Clearance Required in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a secure environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, deliver strong customer service and communication, and bring Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven approach to every shift.

Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report policy violations, maintenance issues, and suspicious behavior to the appropriate site representatives.
• Support daily operations by observing equipment and material movement areas, following post orders, and completing logs, reports, and other assigned security-related documentation.
