About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Specialist in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will support security-related operations by screening personnel, visitors, and/or materials in accordance with site procedures. You will remain visible, help to deter incidents, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site access requirements and established procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the facility perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
