As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Operations in Greenwood, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will support access control by verifying badges, monitoring entry points, and greeting employees and visitors with professionalism. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • CPR Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, delivery personnel, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access screening protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Screen individuals, packages, and/or belongings entering the technology-focused facility in accordance with established procedures and report prohibited items or irregularities.
  • Monitor entry points and access-control activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry locations, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
