About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Examiner in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

A guard card or license is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Screen individuals and personal property using assigned screening equipment and established procedures; identify prohibited items and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
Verify access credentials, direct visitors to designated locations, and maintain orderly entry processes in a government facility.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, surrounding areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.
