Requirements

A valid guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
Screen employees, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with access-control requirements, verifying credentials and directing individuals to appropriate check-in processes.
Monitor entry points and visitor activity, help to deter unauthorized access, and report unusual or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
