As a Security Officer Screener in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and items entering designated areas. You will remain visible, report security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and support smooth site operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen individuals, packages, and property entering or leaving designated areas in accordance with site procedures and applicable requirements.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry credentials to help deter unauthorized access to operational areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including facility access points, loading areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
