Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Have access control or badge experience, preferred.
  • Have customer service experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
  • Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with site requirements and report prohibited or suspicious items or activity.
  • Verify identification, access credentials, and delivery documentation as required, maintaining accurate records of screening activities and visitor entry.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including business operations and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
