About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Personnel Screening in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Screener supporting a financial institution location, you will help maintain a welcoming, professional environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will use strong customer service and communication skills to assist employees and guests while helping to deter incidents. Requirements

  • Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen visitors, guests, deliveries, and/or personal items in accordance with established access-control procedures and site requirements.
  • Verify identification, visitor authorizations, and required credentials before permitting entry to controlled areas.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
