As a Security Officer Full Time Loss Prevention in Beverly Hills, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer in a premier retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with shoppers, staff, and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, stock areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Assist with maintaining a professional, welcoming retail environment while documenting incidents and completing required reports.
