About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Emergency Call Management in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Professional at a financial institution location, you will coordinate communications, monitor access control and alarm systems, document activity, and dispatch appropriate resources for security-related incidents. You will help maintain a professional, responsive environment while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, and other security-related incidents to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
  • Monitor communication systems, cameras, access activity, and alarm notifications; document incidents, requests, and dispatch actions in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and shift communications while supporting regular and random patrol activity around the business and perimeter.
