As a Security Officer Full Time Driver in Bridgeton, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be able to ride a bike.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting emergency services when directed.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
