As a Security Officer Driver Full-Time in Oregon, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities-related industrial location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access activity and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate site contacts.
  • Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
