As a Security Officer Full Time Driver in Wilmington, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage site access, verify credentials, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and support a welcoming environment. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-control records for a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Monitor access-control systems, cameras, and communications equipment; report irregular activity, equipment issues, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, common areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and support security-related operations.
