As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Driver in Branchburg, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will help maintain a professional, secure environment while supporting daily operations with integrity and teamwork. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Monitor entry points, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from a stationary post; report unusual activity and follow established escalation procedures.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and first responders as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining a professional presence, following visitor-management procedures, and communicating policy requirements courteously.
