As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Driver in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with integrity, teamwork, reliability, agility, and a people-first approach at Allied Universal.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at government facilities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following applicable post orders and reporting protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and document visitor activity, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports.
  • Coordinate with onsite personnel and public service agencies as appropriate during emergencies, medical incidents, evacuations, and other security-related events.
