As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Incident Prevention in Fairfax, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and respond professionally to concerns. Using your required armed guard card or license, you will provide exceptional service and clear communication while supporting patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Have at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, healthcare location policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Maintain a professional armed presence and help to deter unauthorized activity, disruptive behavior, and policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including requests involving patients, visitors, staff, and/or emergency personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, parking facilities, entrances, and the perimeter, with working conditions varying throughout the location.
  • Document incidents, patrol findings, and security-related concerns accurately, and promptly communicate significant activity to appropriate personnel.
