As a Security Officer Full Time Access Verification Driver in Mont Belvieu, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, manage visitor activity, and support a secure environment for personnel and operations. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Verify identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor access requirements; maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle access, and restricted-area access to help deter unauthorized entry and support site procedures.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, perimeter areas, and assigned locations, reporting unusual conditions or potential hazards in accordance with site procedures.
