As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Verification in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the technology-focused location, including business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and disruptive behavior through a professional presence and consistent patrol activity.
