About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Verification in Olathe, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and shipping-related appointments, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and help control entry and exit of personnel and vehicles.
Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Document security-related activities, incidents, and irregular conditions in accordance with site procedures.
