About The Position

The Field Training Officer (FTO) trains newly hired Security Officers and serves as their immediate supervisor during training. The FTO has substantial influence on trainees and carries out duties in accordance with Caesars Entertainment policies and its mission statement. The FTO may also provide supervision for Officers when a Security Shift Manager or Security Shift Supervisor is unavailable. Termination decisions are made higher in the chain of command. The FTO completes and submits performance documentation and reports on trainees, monitors their appearance and performance, and is accountable to Security management for issued equipment. The position also includes answering and dispatching telephone calls, reporting unsafe conditions, reviewing and forwarding complaints, providing remedial training when directed, and completing other duties delegated by Security leadership.
