Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge activity, monitor alarm and communication systems, and support security-related operations through professional customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor front desk activity, greet visitors, confirm identities and/or access permissions, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and other front desk interactions according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, drivers, vendors, and Allied Universal personnel as needed.
  • Support access control functions by helping to verify credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, issuing badges or passes when appropriate, and reporting concerns through proper channels.
  • Answer phones, provide directions, and assist employees, guests, and delivery personnel with front desk questions while following post orders and other security-related responsibilities.
