About The Position

As a Security Officer Desk Reception in Florence, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the front desk of a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, reviewing visitor and vendor logs, issuing credentials as directed, and communicating entry procedures in a professional manner.
• Answer phones, greet guests, and support front desk operations by directing visitors, documenting routine activity, and reporting unusual incidents or concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and following post orders for medical, fire, and/or facility-related events.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions by maintaining an attentive presence at the front desk, observing lobby activity, and following established reporting and escalation procedures.
