Join Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will greet visitors, manage access control and badge activity, and support a professional, welcoming environment. This is a driving post. In this customer-focused role, you will help address security-related concerns through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while representing a caring, reliable, and innovative company.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have 5+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and front desk support activities at a commercial office location.
  • Monitor lobby activity, verify visitor credentials, issue access badges, and maintain visitor logs in alignment with property policies and security-related procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and emergency contacts when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, greet guests, provide directions, and support a professional front desk presence while helping to deter unauthorized access to the building.
  • Observe entrances, common areas, and reception activity for unusual behavior and report maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns according to site guidelines.
