Requirements

  • Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by greeting visitors, employees, and contractors, managing front desk activity, and following site-specific security-related procedures for access and visitor processing.
  • Monitor lobby and entrance activity, verify identification and credentials as directed by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Maintain accurate front desk logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
  • Answer phones, provide directions, and support administrative and security-related communication for a busy industrial location while maintaining a professional presence at the reception area.
