As a Security Officer Front Desk in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access activity, monitor the front entrance, and support day-to-day security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating with site contacts regarding arrivals and deliveries.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Support front desk operations in a logistics and distribution location by answering inquiries, documenting security-related activity, and reporting unusual behavior, damaged property, and/or unauthorized access attempts.
