As a Security Officer Front Desk Associate in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. At a busy financial institution front desk, you will greet visitors, manage access and badges, monitor activity, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. As part of Allied Universal, you will bring a caring, reliable presence, work with integrity and teamwork, and help create a welcoming, professional experience for employees, members, and guests.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting members, visitors, and/or staff, managing access procedures, and following site-specific policies for a financial institution location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or visitor information as directed, and report unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate contact.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Answer questions, provide directions, and maintain accurate front desk logs, visitor records, and other security-related documentation as required by the location.
  • Support a professional front desk presence that may help to deter unauthorized access, while communicating clearly with members, guests, and/or employees.
