As a Security Officer - Freight & Loading Dock, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and site information, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol records while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and property representatives.
