Security Officer Fire Prevention
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Fire Prevention to serve and safeguard clients at a food and beverage production and distribution location in Golden, Colorado. The unarmed officer conducts facility patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, supports a welcoming environment, and provides customer service to employees and visitors. The role also involves responding professionally to site needs and following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. This is a full-time position paying $25.00 per hour, with scheduled shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility, production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for visitors, vendors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications.
- Maintain a professional presence that helps support a secure workplace.
