As a Security Officer Facility Access Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will manage badge access, monitor entry points, support visitor processing, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Possess at least one year of law enforcement experience, two years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or three years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, authorizations, and visitor or contractor documentation in accordance with site requirements.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, maintain accurate access logs, issue and collect visitor badges or access credentials, and report discrepancies to site leadership.
  • Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, designated areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
