As a Security Officer Armed - Corporate Facility Access in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal in an armed role supporting a dynamic chemical/petrochemical location. You will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of operational areas, buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and potential hazards.
  • Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation while supporting compliance with applicable site procedures.
