As a Security Officer Armed - Corporate Facility Access in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. You will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of operational areas, buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and potential hazards.
Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation while supporting compliance with applicable site procedures.
