As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Agent in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related or property-related issues as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entry and exit points, observe building activity, and communicate with property management and/or emergency responders regarding security-related concerns, alarms, or suspicious conditions.
