As a Security Officer Entry Verification Driver in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access procedures, credential checks, and security-related policies at entry and exit points.
  • Monitor access control systems, visitor logs, and/or delivery activity to help support authorized entry to the location and report irregularities to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including directing individuals to the proper contacts and following emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct routine inspections of lobbies, reception areas, loading zones, and/or other assigned access points to help identify unusual activity, unsecured doors, or policy concerns.
  • Document daily activities, visitor interactions, and/or incident details in required reports while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal management.
