Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific procedures for access control, identification verification, and visitor processing at a manufacturing location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, screen incoming foot and vehicle traffic, and document authorized access activity in accordance with post orders and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, perimeter, and access points to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.
• Assist with enforcing property rules, restricted area access requirements, and badge or credential procedures to help support an orderly work environment.
