As a Security Officer Entry Verification Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving access control officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and support a secure environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents, remain visible, and bring our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor processing, and document security-related activities involving employees, contractors, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Support Allied Universal standards by reporting maintenance concerns, access issues, and unusual conditions that could impact site operations and/or security-related procedures.
