Join Allied Universal at a premier food and beverage location as an Access Control Officer in a driving post. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while supporting a caring culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, badge verification steps, and other security-related policies for the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, review identification and credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas such as production, storage, and loading spaces.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records, issue temporary credentials as directed, and report access-related concerns according to post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around entrances, checkpoints, and the perimeter, noting conditions that could impact daily operations at the location.
