As a Security Officer Driver Entry Screening in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will help monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support access procedures for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, badge verification, and/or entry point monitoring at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
  • Monitor employee, contractor, and visitor movement through designated entrances and restricted areas, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting site access policies.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, entry points, loading areas, and perimeter, noting maintenance issues, unsecured doors, and/or other security-related conditions.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including following post orders, communicating with site personnel, and supporting orderly access restrictions during incidents.
