About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Entry Screening in Sugar Grove, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. This is a driving post. You will support daily operations with professionalism, customer service, and integrity while working as part of a reliable, caring, and innovative team.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor management processes, and other security-related policies at a food and beverage location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or identification, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity to help support authorized access throughout the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and conditions that may require a security-related response.
