About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Systems in Omaha, Nebraska, you will safeguard a logistics and distribution location by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will use computer or tablet systems to support badge and access processes while providing customer service and communicating effectively. The position is full-time and pays $17.56 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, maintain visitor and contractor records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading and unloading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control exceptions accurately and promptly in accordance with company and site-specific procedures.
